Summer Camp Testimonial

"Scott,

     I thought the clinic was EXCEPTIONAL! The coaching style they utilized is very loud and high energy thus maintaining the attention of the younger skaters, which can be challenging to integrate with older skaters. The coaches did not hesitate to grab players and correct them if they saw that they were not using the proper technique. I always make sure when I am coaching, no one is allowed to hide in the back of the line and that all skaters are corrected to perform the technique or drill properly. I feel that parents expect that, and this is the difference between good coaching and average coaching. The staff on the ice nailed it in my opinion on all of these levels. In fact, I took James to skate in a clinic in another town last night and it turned out to be a waste of time. The reason is due to the lack of tempo and energy during the session. After seeing him skate at a high level in the Nates Clinic it was disappointing to see the dip. All in all, it was a great two hours. I thought it would be too much for my kids but they hung in there and had a great time. I am in the process of looking at the possibility of rearranging Jame's camp schedule because he expressed interest in attending the week long skating clinic. I thought it was a great session, I'm glad we went.
